body art paint

hey guys. i'm nero, a professional body painter fromphiladelphia. today i'm going to be doing my interpretationon one of our lovely models. i will be creating captain marvel. hi, i'm maeden cosplay. i'm about to be body painted for the firsttime. i've been body painting for over twenty yearsnow. it's just been an incredible ride, with theclientele, the models i've been meeting. a lot of the jobs and events that i've beena part of and i'm happy to be here, doing

what i do. i've been a fan of comic books, cosplay, anime,video games, etc., even since i was a little kid. to be able to be a part of this world is amazingto me. a lot of the body painting ideas and jobsthat i do include me creating props for photo shoots as well as the body painting that ido. how do you feel? cold! for smooth texture and speed, a lot of timesi like to use the airbrush.

it actually helps me along the way when itcomes down to making a design really look unique, authentic. for detail, i usually like to go into thedesign with the paint brushes. it gives me the opportunity to actually drawon the skin, the way that i feel is necessary. like an illustrator. so, big or small, i can do it all. i usually like to work as big as possible.sopainting on the body is always one of my favorite things. but i do everything from painting cars,trucks, motorcycles, backdrops, large canvases

and costumes. at one point it was really hard for me toactually do a lot of body painting and create some of the ideas that i wanted to do becauseof studio space. but now i'm part of gregory mack's and thomasj. wood's red cedar studios located in philadelphia. from here on out, the ride is going to beamazing. some of the models i work with are very, verybeautiful people. i love open spirits, it makes it really easyfor me to perform what i would love to achieve as far as a great look. i work with males, females and pretty muchanyone that's willing to let me express my
